M.A.zing Orange Chicken Recipe

What you need:
For chicken:

3 boneless skinless chicken breast

1/3 cup of flour (almond flour for keto)
-
1/3 cup of cornstarch
-
3 eggs
-
1/2 tbsp of black pepper
-
1.5 tbsp of seasoning salt
-
1 tbsp of garlic powder
-
4 cups Vegetable oil (Air fry for keto)
For Orange Sauce:
-
2.5 cups of orange juice
-
2 tbsp of soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto)
-
1 tbsp of red pepper flakes
-
1/3 cup of sugar free M.A.zing Sauce
-
1.5 tbsp of minced garlic
-
1 cup of sugar (Monk Fruit sweetener for keto)
-
2 tbsp of rice vinegar
-
1 tbsp of corn starch (Xanthum Gum for keto)
-
Orange zest
Let’s get started
Directions
- Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes.
- Preheat oil. Temp to 350°F.
- Prepare flour, cornstarch, and garlic powder mixture for batter. Whisk eggs together in a separate bowl.
- Coat chicken in egg, then dip in batter. Make sure oil is at 350°F. Fry chicken for 3 mins or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Next, prepare M.A.zing Orange Sauce. Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Allow to thicken slightly.
- Drain chicken of excess grease. Once sauce is ready add chicken to evenly coat with sauce.
Optional toppings/garnishes include sesame seeds, fresh green onion, and/or red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
