M.A.zing Orange Chicken Recipe

What you need:

For chicken:

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup of flour (almond flour for keto)
  • 1/3 cup of cornstarch
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp of black pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp of seasoning salt
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil (Air fry for keto)

For Orange Sauce:

  • 2.5 cups of orange juice
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto)
  • 1 tbsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup of sugar free M.A.zing Sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp of minced garlic
  • 1 cup of sugar (Monk Fruit sweetener for keto)
  • 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of corn starch (Xanthum Gum for keto)
  • Orange zest

Let’s get started

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Preheat oil. Temp to 350°F.
  3. Prepare flour, cornstarch, and garlic powder mixture for batter. Whisk eggs together in a separate bowl.
  4. Coat chicken in egg, then dip in batter. Make sure oil is at 350°F. Fry chicken for 3 mins or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Next, prepare M.A.zing Orange Sauce. Add all ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Allow to thicken slightly.
  6. Drain chicken of excess grease. Once sauce is ready add chicken to evenly coat with sauce.

Optional toppings/garnishes include sesame seeds, fresh green onion, and/or red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
